Return Policy
Our perishable food items are sold fresh. Due to variability in how customers store items during transit and at home, Barth’s has no control over the life of the products once they leave the store. All food sales of perishable items are final. Barth’s Market will accept returns of unopened non-perishable items within 7 days of purchase with a receipt.
For delivery orders, we will notify our customer prior to delivery. If the customer is not available to accept the delivery, groceries will be left at their door. Barth’s will not be responsible for spoilage issues related to leaving groceries unattended.

Product Storage and Handling
Meats that are packaged in white or brown paper by our butchers should be used within 2-3 days of purchase. We recommend using seafood within 1 day of purchase for optimal freshness. A la carte purchases of smoked meats (such as bacon and canadian sausage), cold cuts, sausages, and bratwurst should be used within 3 days of purchase. Items that are vacuum sealed have an extended shelf life; the use by dates are printed on the labels. Note that once a vacuum sealed package is opened, the item should be used within 1-2 days for optimal freshness.
